MEMBERS of a county town group will be able to find out more about archaeology through a talk.

Richard Baker, a local historian, will be talking to the members of the Dorchester Townswomen’s Guild on Monday, May 12.

His talk will be called ‘The Find of a lifetime’.

Richard broke through the roof of a medieval room when excavating and made an amazing discovery.

The meeting starts at 2pm in Dorchester Community Church, Liscombe Street, Poundbury, where there is ample free parking in the area.

Visitors will be made very welcome for £4.  Phone 01305 832857 for enquiries.
