End of the match between Middlesbrough and Norwich City which ends goalless. The locals miss a golden opportunity to settle in sixth place in the standings and now do not depend on themselves to get that place. 

Last changes at Norwich. The visitors decided to take off Jacob Wright and replaced him with Ghanaian player Forson Amankwah. A fast player for the spaces that Middlesbrough are already leaving in defense. 

New changes in both teams. For the home team, Samuel Iling-Junior and Morgan Whittaker are sent off and Ryan Giles and Delano Burgzorg are substituted. 
Norwich replaced Ruairi McConville and brought on Jacob Sørensen.

Middlesbrough is saved. Great through ball from Liam Gibbs to American striker Josh Sargent who crosses the ball past the home goal. Poor accuracy from the American who had the winning goal at his feet. 

New changes in the visiting team. After a notorious physical exhaustion, the 25-year-old Chilean player Marcelino Núñez comes out and the 18-year-old Danish player Oscar Schwartau enters. Will the young player from Denmark be able to score the goal that will unbalance this game?

Middlessbrough arrived again after a team move between Forss and Azaz, who controlled the ball with his left foot and shot at the near post, but Angus Gunn sent it to a corner kick. Boro keep trying. 

Changes in both teams. For Norwich City, Ben Slimane came off and midfielder Liam Gibbs came on in his place. For the home side, Kelechi Iheanacho came off and Marcus Forss came on to give Boro's attack a bit more freshness. 

Boro regained possession of the ball and began to develop collective moves that allowed them to get closer to the opposition's half. However, it is not quite enough and they look like a team anxious to score a winning goal. 

We only had two cautions in the match. For the visitors, the yellow card went to right winger Jack Stacey, while for the home side it was for defender Samuel Iling-Junior. A fairly clean game with few cuts during the match.

Great save by Callum Doyle after a right-footed shot from Irishman Finn Azaz. Great block by the visiting center back with his right foot on what looked like an absolutely scripted goal. The match is getting a little livelier. 

Nothing is happening at this stage of the match, there are no close calls or approaches, however the atmosphere at Riverside Stadium is present to cheer and encourage their team to get the victory that will put them in Playoff positions.

At the half hour mark, Boro have dropped the high and good pace with which they started the game and now it is the visitors who are taking the initiative and are looking more proactive. However, both teams are quite imprecise when it comes to the last pass. 

The home side is saved. Stacey puts in a cross into the box, Boro captain Dael Fry tries to clear with a strange backheel and deflects the ball towards goal, but goalkeeper Mark Travers manages to react in time to prevent the goal. 

After two important arrivals for 'Boro', the team led by Michael Carrick has slowed down the pace of the match without giving up possession of the ball. Norwich pulled back and waited for a counter-attack to generate danger.

Once again the home side came close to the goal defended by Angus Gunn, this time the shot was taken by Hayden Hackney, who shot a shot that sent the ball slightly deflected into the opposing goal.
