Alex Martial Arts ribbon cutting ceremony set for May 10

ALEXANDRIA — A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Saturday, May 10 at 9 a.m. to celebrate the official grand opening of a new location for Alex Martial Arts at 2308 S. Broadway St.

Following the ceremony will be a full morning of program demonstrations, interactive workshops, an obstacle course, a food truck, and more.

Alexandria Martial Arts & Movement is a martial arts school that has programs for all ages and levels. Programs include Little Heroes, Kids Martial Arts, and Teen Martial Arts for kids as well as Adult Martial Arts, Empower Boxing, Self Defense, and Personal Training.

The new space is a significant upgrade as far as location, parking, and access for families.

Ribbon cuttings are a service offered by the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
