Soccer Aid 2025 is just around the corner, but when is it on, how can you watch it on TV and who’s playing?

The popular event, which was created by music legend Robbie Williams, launched back in 2006 and has become one of the nation’s favourite sporting nights of the year.

Soccer Aid has since raised over £106 million, all supporting UNICEF’s vital work around the world, working with families, communities and trusted partners to support children to grow up safe, healthy and able to play, over the past 19 years.

Each year, the star-studded game sees England taking on the World XI, with former players and famous faces from all walks of life taking part.

In 2024, at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, England secured a 6–3 win against the World XI, with Ellen White becoming the first female player to score in a Soccer Aid match.

With this year’s Soccer Aid taking place right here in Manchester, here’s everything you need to know about its 2025 edition.

England will be managed by Wayne Rooney on his return to Old Trafford, with Harry Redknapp and boxing icon Tyson Fury joining him in the dugout.

The World XI will be coached by former Manchester United goalie Peter Schmeichel, with Ireland’s all-time leading goalscorer Robbie Keane coaching as well as playing.
