New Delhi, June 21: The Vashistha Dham Sewa Trust felicitated meritorious students of Delhi at a function organised at Aggarwal Dharamshala, Chhatarpur in South Delhi.
The Chief Guest Chhatarpur MLA, Mr Kartar Singh Tanwar presented certificates and mementos to the 65 meritorious students who secured 85 per cent and above marks in the class 10th and 12th examinations during the year 2025. Mr Tanwar appreciated the efforts of students for the outstanding achievements and given best wishes to the children for their bright future.
Noted educationist, Dr Ashok Tyagi said that technology has brought all the students at one platform irrespective of their family background and economic status. Now the students belonging to normal families are also doing good in examinations. He urged the students to use smart phone
for upgrading their knowledge. He also called upon the students to imbibe the high moral values, humbleness, tolerance and dedication for making themselves good citizens of India.
Speaking on the occasion, the President of Vashistha Dham Sewa Trust, Mrs Renu Sharma said that the felicitation of meritorious students would inspire more students to concentrate more on their studies for achieving good results. She said that such functions would also encourage the parents to motivate their children to focus more on studies and it would result in better performance in the examinations.
The Chairman of South Delhi, MCD, Mr Umed Singh Phogat said that maximum help would be provided for the schools and students for upgrading the education facilities .
The President of Sankalp Charitable Trust Mrs Sushma Vashisht, Social Activist Ms Neeru Sharma, Patron of Vashistha Dham Sewa Trust Mr Ramneek Sharma, Senior Advisor Mr Ashok Sharma, Financial Advisor Mr Ashutosh Trivedi and Ms Omvati Singh were also present on the occasion.
